A proper Ginger Ale that reflects the taste of 1950‘s London. A perfect mixer for a robust Whisky or Bourbon. Reject all other insipid copies. This is the real thing.

    Old Fashioned Notcher
  • 2 shots Whisky
  • 1/2 shot simple syrup
  • finish with No 3 Dry Ginger
  • In memory of Notcher Spanton 1928-2012
  • o3 Dry Ginger.

The wonderful smell of my father’s Whisky and Dry has stayed with me over the years. This memory of the East End when men wore suits to the pub and could hold their liquor was key when it came to creating my own recipe. With the real heat of ginger and top note of lime, No3 is a classic Dry ginger just as it should be.

John Matthews (1808–1870) was an English-born American inventor and soda water manufacturer. He is known as “The Soda Fountain King”. My London Soda water retains the simplicity and purity that Mathews insisted on. Clean and refreshing. Nothing more nothing less.

GRAPEFRUIT SODA

TASTING NOTES:

Created to excite the adult palate, this grown up soda with salt and lime is excellent on its own or mixed with a spirit. A long refreshing drink that simply has no rivals.

PERFECT SERVE:

In a frosted highball glass add:

  • Double measure of aged Mescal or Tequila.
  • No13 Salted Paloma
  • Crushed Ice
  • Red or pink grapefruit wedge
Method
  • Pour double measure of Mescal or Tequila into frosted glass
  • Top with No13 Salted Paloma  to half fill the glass, gently stir.
  • Top with crushed ice.
  • Add wedge of grapefruit.
  • Drink through the ice.

Carbonated water, red grapefruit juice ( from concetrate 42% ), pressed lime juice ( 4% ), sugar, salt, elderberry juice from (from concentrate)
